First elected in 2004, Representative Steve Davis is currently serving his third term as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives. Representative Davis is honored to serve the people of House District 109, which covers parts of Henry County. Representative Davis was elected by his peers as Chairman of the Henry County Legislative Delegation in January 2009. His other legislative duties include Vice Chairman of State Planning and Community Affairs as well as memberships on the Insurance, State Institutions and Property, and Transportation Committees. Davis is an active member in the Conservative 216 Club and in 2007 was named Representative of the Year by the Republican Liberty Caucus.
Representatives Davis is an avid golfer and loves college football. When not fulfilling his law-making duties under the Gold Dome and his constituent services in the district, Representative Davis is a small business owner and licensed Real Estate Agent. He is happily married to his wife, Melissa and they have three children. Their son, Ryan, is a junior at Georgia Southern University, their daughter Kelli is in high school and their youngest daughter Ashli is in middle school here in McDonough. The Davis’ are very involved in the community and attend Kelleytown Community Church in McDonough.
