AN ACT

To amend Chapter 3 of Title 19 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to marriage generally, so as to repeal the provisions relating to serological testing for syphilis requirements for marriage licenses; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
Chapter 3 of Title 19 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to marriage generally, is amended by repealing Code Section 19-3-40, relating to blood tests, license refused to person infected with communicable syphilis, exceptions, form, filing, and disposal of physician´s certificate, appeal of refusal, treatment, and penalty, and designating said Code section as reserved.

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
