A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend Article 3 of Chapter 3 of Title 44 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to condominiums, so as to require a contract for the sale of a condominium to include a list of any requests for maintenance or repairs made by the unit owner to the association and the status of such requests; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
Article 3 of Chapter 3 of Title 44 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to condominiums, is amended by adding a new subsection (f.1) to Code Section 44-3-111, relating to sales of residential condominium units for residential occupancy, information required to be furnished by seller, buyer´s right to void contract, limitations period, attorney´s fees, and penalty for willful violation, to read as follows:
"(f.1) Any contract for the sale of a condominium unit, whether or not a covered contract, shall include a list of any requests for maintenance or repairs of the condominium unit that the unit owner has requested of the association and, if a request has been made, the status of such a request."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
